About us

A big welcome to NIC NOWEGO. Just a few words from the owner Tom Naughton to explain why the bar hasn’t a typical Irish name. The name “NIC NOWGO” literally translates into English as NOTHING NEW. In Poland it’s the common reply to the frequently asked question “What’s Up”.

A big surprise awaits those who arrive in NIC NOWEGO to find not your usual clichéd Irish bar that you will find from one end of the world to another.

NIC NOWEGO is a typical café bar that will fit into any modern European capital city with the added advantage that it is Irish owned.

Myself personally, I am trying to deconstruct the myth that all Irish bars abroad should be badly lit, little or no ventilation, filthy dirty toilets, Irish music blasting away 24/7 and an awful collection of junk littering each nook and cranny. The above mentioned is not a representation of Ireland anymore. We have actually moved on!

My philosophy of an Irish bar abroad is friendly informative service, great selection of music, amazing food, which is prepared by myself and of course very clean toilets.

Looking forward to seeing you. Enjoy your holidays in Cracow.
