Welcome to Nicnowego
"Nothing new" is how "Nicnowego" translates from Polish. However, most of our customers appreciate the irony that, in a city overwhelmed with cellar bars or scruffy bohemian haunts, Nic Nowego occupies a well-lit ground floor space furnished in a discreet modern style on a quiet corner just a step away from Krakow's famous medieval market square. A further irony is of course that almost uniquely among the world's Irish bars, the name is indeed "new" by not alluding in any way to the "Auld Country"!
Popular amongst local Poles and expats alike, thanks to the relaxed combination of a tasty menu, well-trained, cheerful and attractive staff, generous opening hours and a big screen for showing selected sporting events, Nic Nowego has firmly established itself as a popular haunt for those who appreciate comfort and unpretentious sophistication.
In addition to the all-day menu (which includes the finest Irish breakfast in town) and the expected range of beers, wine and spirits, Nic Nowego is pleased to offer its guests draught Guinness and imported Bulmers cider.
